Community Connection and Volunteering
Community is the fabric that binds us together, and our actions reflect our commitment to strengthening these bonds in Irmo. Our annual Christmas Tree Lot at McGregor Presbyterian Church is more than a festive event; it’s a symbol of our engagement with the community. But our connection doesn’t end there. Whether it’s helping to fix a deck at the local children’s shelter or loading buses full of snacks for children’s lunches at school, we’re always ready to lend a hand where needed. By volunteering our time and resources, we foster a sense of unity, compassion, and shared purpose, furthering our mission to enrich and uplift the lives of those around us.

Christmas Tree Lot
Nov- Dec
The Annual Optimist Club Christmas Tree Lot is primary fundraiser for our club. Located on St. Andrews Road at McGregor Presbyterian Church parking lot. We also always open “the weekend before Thanksgiving".

You can participate by sponsoring or signing up a team to golf. All proceeds go to our Annual Day of Giving, supporting the local youth within our community!

We support many youth-related organizations each year and this culminates in our Day of Giving event where we fund and thank those organizations for what they do in our community.
